It’s a good thing Quietdrive enjoy touring, because they’ve done tons of it since releasing When All that’s Left Is You last May. While much ado has been made about the band’s heavy traffic stats on MySpace, it’s the songwriting dynamics and the high-octane live show that’ll attract (and keep) fans. “We can break it down into two guitars and one voice,” affable guitarist Matt Kirby says, insisting there’s something for everyone on the record and at the shows. “We can take it up a notch and get loud. We have love ballads andedgy songs we only play for the fun crowds. We can do whatever we want.” Like any band who claim touring and recording as their biggest passions, Quietdrive aren’t singular in their approach, which is key for music fans with a fly’s attention span. “We’re confident people will like at least one song,” the guitarist declares. “We want you bobbing your head when you hear us, whether you’re a toddler or grandparent.”
